Get-Well card with free digital stamp from Bird's Cards
Monday, April 18, 2016
This get-well card's free turtle digital stamp from Bird's Cards is the perfect image to use on a card for someone recovering from back surgery, don't you think?! My cousin (the recipient and who is indeed recovering from said type of surgery) loved it; she said the turtle on its back was so appropriate and made her smile.
This is the first official outing for the Spellbinders corner dies I treated myself to at Christmas. I have some plain MFT Die-namics photo corners dies that I use all the time, as on this masculine card, but I wanted something a bit more frilly for 'girly' cards.
A word about this stamp – it's a GIF file and in order for me to size it as I wanted, I needed to convert it to a JPG file. It didn't take enlarging well and I needed to sharpen it a bit. It still has just a teeny weeny bit of fuzziness to the letters, something to keep in mind if you grab it for yourself.
