Get your Grill On! Happy Summer card with Porky's Backyard BBQ digital stamp

Happy 4th of July to USA readers! Here's another of my combo Happy Summer/Happy 4th of July cards sent States side this year. As I mentioned with the first in this series – Porky Grilling card – I decided to combine summer and 4th of July greetings with images that do double duty. My 4th of July greeting is inside the card. With eight images in the set and sale priced at only $1.00, goodness knows I've gotten my money's worth with this Porky's Backyard BBQ stamp set; to date I've used six of the images.

This one with an apron clad Porky ready to grill (vegetarian grilling, mind you), is my favorite so far. I used paper from Hot Off the Press's Home Grown paper pack, although the paper I've used is actually a free gift mini-kit I received with Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine about three years ago (you can see more of the paper on this Country Look birthday card).

I paper pieced Porky's apron and used die-cuts from the kit as embellishments. As with cards #2, #3, and #4 I used my own sentiment from a sheet I created just for these images.
