Bat Halloween card with Useless Trinkets digital freebie
Saturday, October 21, 2017
This batty Halloween card features a free digital stamp and sentiment from Useless Trinkets. I debated a bit about who should receive it. I didn't think my 97 year old grandmother would get the humor and I didn't want to send it to my niece who has a bird phobia. I ended up sending it to my brother (not saying that he's a bit batty or anything) and his wife; I thought they'd appreciate it.
Paper is a mix from Blair, Treats and Spooky Tactile Studio digital paper packs (the bat background is from the Spooky pack).
Embellishments are my now-normal-keep-it-flat enamel dots and a little ribbon. These particular dots have a mat finish, which I find I rather like.

Though I am terrified of bats, your superbly-colored digi is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteLOL - Shani - I kept looking for the useless trinkets on your card until it dawned on me that must be the NAME of the company - duh! I never heard of them - that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! Back to your card... I really like the paper you paired up with this one - the wood is a natural for this one. My favorite thing is the touch of pink you put in his wings. When Tinkerbat spread his little wings you could see the pink as they are almost transparent! Good job my friend!
