Happy Halloween! My card celebrating today's fete features a free hedgehog and pumpkin digital stamp from Sliekje Stamps.
The sentiment was created with Arizona Script font. The digital Acorn and Tranquility papers are from Tactile Studio. The metal charms – that look like buttons – are from Joycraft.
Halloween isn't a holiday traditionally observed in France, but the last few years you see more and more items in the stores to promote it. My American side doesn't mind it and I like sending cards to family back in the States, but my French side has a problem with it. It isn't a holiday for us here and I feel like it's a marketing ploy just to get people to spend money. ReplyDeleteI followed the link to your very interesting past post, and was going to comment when I saw I had commented on it a couple of years ago - ha! No wonder I was thinking to myself when I read it, "Hmmm, I think I knew that." I just sitting here waiting for my daughter to get back from trick-or-treating (my boys are past that stage) so I can make her share her loot with me. I'm still liking those mini chocolate bars! :-)
