I've got another Happy Summer card for you today, featuring this 'beary' summer image from QKR Stampede.
If you click on the link above, you'll see that I've flipped Mr. Bear from facing left to facing right, as I felt that direction better accommodated my design. This is easily done with one simple click of your photo processing software.
The paper is a mystery pad I picked up recently at my favorite discount shop. The brand name is shown as Peddy, but I can't find any of it online to share a link, not even a manufacturer. This is the second time I've come across this brand. I bought another pad of it about a year ago at the same shop and used that paper on this Elephant Birthday card. The designs are wonderful and the paper is of good quality. Hmm...I wonder where they come from? Do any of you know this brand? Whatever its origins, I'm enjoying this pad; its bright colors are perfect for summer. I bought two colorful graphic design pads and another one for Christmas. I created the sentiment with Mister Sirloin BTN Rare font.

ReplyDeleteYour contrast is getting better and better if that is possible! Look at the difference on this one between the highlights and shadows on his back vs. his back and his stomach or front of his arm. It makes him pop right off the page - really nicely done Shani!

I've never heard of the paper brand. The patterns are nice and I like the 'sun' on your beach card. Your bear sure looks like he's enjoying his beach-cation! Happy he didn't get a sunburn!
