So...are you an 'autumn' person? Or a 'fall' person? Growing up in the American southwest, I used to be exclusively 'fall' (Happy Fall Y'all!), but after two decades in France where it's l'automne, where more English speakers around me say 'autumn' than 'fall', I now swing both ways, but am more inclined to use 'autumn'.
Today's Happy Autumn (Fall) card, features Crealies card-size HAPPY die and Prettygrafik's Halloween Cats digi. This is such a versatile die; whatever you're happy about you can use it for. Previous versions are these Happy Holidays and Happy Easter cards.
Paper is from the Coffee Shop Blog – Coffee Shop Fall 4 digital freebie. If you like digital papers and digital photo processing add-ons (hand raised, yes please), The Coffee Shop blog is an EXCELLENT source, full of free digital papers, photography templates and all sorts of goodies Rita shares with her readers.
I've used my new Tonic Studio's Nuvo Crystal Drops in Auburn Pearl for embellishment. These have been around a while, but I've just discovered them. I think these will be replacing enamel dots in my crafting future. Nuvo drops don't come unstuck, they're whatever size I want them to be, they're less expensive, and will last longer. I've tried these type of pearl makers in the past and haven't been impressed. They'd leave little peaks and weren't really round, but these Nuvo ones are self-rounding. I'm hooked! The only downside is that you do need to set your project aside overnight and let them dry thoroughly, otherwise they can smudge.

I say 'autumn' when I want to sound fancy. 'Fall' when I don't. (: Delightful card, Shani! That big happy die is so awesome. Glad to see you're loving the Nuvo drops.....I wanted to love them too, except I can't seem to make them work....my drops always end up looking like deformed drips. It's not too bad though....when I made the move to the new furniture I discovered I have a bit of a pearl/bling problem....meaning I have more way than enough, so I won't have to worry about sharpening my Nuvo skills for a while!

This is adorable!! LOVE the big HAPPY and the sweet kitty. Such a beautiful autumn/fall card. For me, autumn and fall are two different but closely-related seasons. Autumn is where the leaves change and the glorious warm golden days glow with the beautiful colors on the trees. Fall is when the trees shed their leaves and the branches are getting bare, but the snows haven't started yet. So there...I use BOTH words. :)
