Happy St. Patty's Day! Have a great GREEN day!
My card today feature's Di's Digi Stamps Happiness is a St. Patrick's Bear digi (flipped to face the other direction). I noted while getting the link this digi is on sale for just £1.00. And on top of that, Di's having a 40% off Spring sale on the entire store, even the latest releases and sale items!!! So if you want to stock up, now's the time. Another very cute St. Pat's Day digi from Di's is St. Patrick's Mice, used on one of last year's cards.
The design for this card is inspired by a post on Nancy Thomas's (no relation) Creative Palette blog. I like that it uses a single, small piece of patterned paper. I had this one bit left in my scraps file from another of last year's St. Patrick's Day cards (Kiss Me I'm Irish Penguin) and it fits perfectly. It makes me feel all thrifty using up this last piece. The hardest part in making this card was keeping my white base white – know what I mean? I'm going to put it in a plastic sleeve quick before I get something on it.
The sentiment was created with Segoe Script font.
Paper – cardstock, scraps file paper
Embellishments – enamel dots, twine
Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers
Art-n-Fly white pen
This is so adorable! Cute image and your coloring is amazing. Love the bit of twisted twine and enamel dots. Thanks for sharing at Colorful Options March, "Green" Challenge.

I love that you used that bit, it couldnʻt be more perfect for this cute little bear! As for white card bases, I have problems with white regardless of what it is. A pair of white jeans are guaranteed to be less that white even 5 minutes after I put them on. Oh, well...at least Iʻm not alone.
