I didn't have a sentiment stamp that said what I wanted so I printed one out, then used a tag punch. The ribbon is another freebie from the French magazine Création Scrapbooking.
I find myself using more and more these Aladine stamps that mimic stitching. When you hold the card in your hand, it really does look like you've used a machine.
I added some swirls and a butterfly cut with die in my Happycut. I don't think you have the Happycut machine in the States. It's made by Artemio, a Belgian company and it's very good. It can cut up to an A4 paper (slightly bigger than an American 8 1/2" x 11").
Material
G. Lalo card stock, Picadilly Eat at Joe's paper, Mahé Mauve paper, old file folder (for the tag), free images and ribbon from Créatif Spécial Cartes 3D and Création Scrapbooking respectively, Alyssaine button, Artemio dies for the butterfly and trim, Sizzix swirl die, vintage sheet music
I adore teacup images! Your card has so much lovely detail and the colors are really YUMMY! So glad you played RetroSketches this week!
