Not your typical Halloween card – 3D, non-scary and it's green

When it comes to Halloween it seems the predominant color scheme is orange and black. But, I'm a bit tired of that. I'm also tired of overly scary Halloween cards. How about a nice Halloween card? Something – dare I say it – sweet? I wanted a kinder, gentler Halloween card.

And I came up with this. The black cat and pumpkin on this Le Suh 3D sheet had a Halloween-ish look, but not too scary. I decided to play up the green leaf background of the image instead of the orange of the pumpkin.

The solid cat images are from Cajoline. I changed the color to green and printed them out on vellum. The green base paper of the card is also from Cajoline and a lovely freebie I might add. There's a sentiment inside the card this time too.

There you have it – sweet, green and Halloween.

Material

Paper – Folia Mittsommerland, Cajoline download, vellum. Le Suh 3D sheet cat image. Verve Happy Halloween stamp. Pearl embellishments.
