Shades of Blue—3D square floral birthday card

Playing along with Deconstructing Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 74 today.

The flowers of the main image are cut and layered for a delightful 3D effect. They're from a 3D sheet by Quincy Products. I cut out the different layers and then used adhesive pads in varying thicknesses to mount them against the base image. The banner is taken from an old turn of the century botanical print I scanned, then colored blue, before printing on vellum and cutting with my Verve banner die.

This little lovely is finished just in time to send to my Grandmother for her birthday.

Material

Paper—G. Lalo cardstock, Quincy 3D floral sheet, Folia, Cardmaking and Papercrafting freebie, vellum. Embellishments—Artoz gemstones, Papermania metal look corner sticker, Anita Happy Birthday sticker, stickpins. Die—Verve banner, Artemio oval.
