I dragged the poor hubby to an arts and craft expo today. These type of things are called
salons over here. He was a good sport about it. As long as I don't ask him to carry my purse, he's okay. The biggest arts, crafts and hobby salon in France starts
next week in Paris, the
Créations Savoir Faire salon by Maire-Claire. One of these days I'd like to go but, alas, Paris is a bit far away. The
Creativa salon we went to today is much closer, taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland through tomorrow. They frown on you taking pictures, but I was able to inconspicuously snap off a few.
I hit all the scrap stands, that's for sure. And you know I didn't walk away empty handed.
There were workshops for kids and adults alike. The kids seemed to be having more fun.
It was actually a larger exhibition space than I had thought it would be. This is one half of the hall.
And here's the other.
If you're looking for something to do Sunday (tomorrow's the last day) in the Geneva, Switzerland area, it's worth checking out.
