Here's the card I submitted with my application.
I multi-stamped, cut and layered the flowers for a 3D effect. Stamps were colored with colored pencil.
As I mentioned in an earlier post on how I color most of my stamped images, color pencils are great for a soft, transparent kind of color, but they're not good for detail. To get the little detail on the flower petals, I took a tiny tipped paint brush, inked it with Distress and with quick, light strokes added the detail.
Doesn't this stick pin look like marble? I thought it worked nicely with the color scheme. It was a tad too long though, I cut it back a bit.
