Today I'm participating in the Inkspirational Challenge #12, sponsored by Inspired by Stamping. This week's challenge is a CASE study. Look around my blog. See any CAS cards? No. That's because I'm not a real CAS kind of gal. But, I guess I was truly 'inkspired' this week. Granted, it's still a bit on the shabby, vintage side, but it doesn't get much more simple than this.
Using Inspired by Stamping's Beautiful Iris set and some vintage paper I whipped this card out in no time and you know what? I love it!
The page on the front is from a 1910 copy of the Petit Larousse Illustré, which if you're not familiar with is a type of atlas/dictionary/encyclopedia. This page is the one that had the definition of Iris and if you look closely you'll see that next to the 'Hello' sentiment. I added a strip of washi tape and some Artemio brads I cut the backs off of.
Inside I put more vintage paper. I didn't cut any of this paper. I just tore it to fit and left it au naturel.
This is the second vintage card I've made with the Iris set, it adapts so well to vintage.
And here's the Inkspirational Challenger #12
