I'm playing along with two challenges today—Seize the Birthday's sketch challenge and Papercraft Star's polka dots and lace challenge.
I used a page taken from a 1920's dictionary as my center image, on top of polka dot and dusty pink cardstock.
The circular stamp is from Inspired by Stamping's Fancy Circles set with the Birthday Girl sentiment from Butterfly Wings. The crochet lace trim is also from Inspired by Stamping. Doesn't the ribbon look pretty woven through it? I like that look.
I finished up the inside with more pink cardstock, polka dot paper and vintage blank paper. Here I used IBS's Birthday Greetings and Big Wishes sets (I use the heck out of these two sets, they are sooooo versatile).
Here's Sieze the Birthday's sketch:
Materials
Stamps—Inspired by Stamping Fancy Circles, Butterfly Wings, Birthday Greetings, Big Wishes
Paper—vintage, G. Lalo and miscellaneous cardstock
Dies—Artemio circles
Other—IBS crochet lace trim, ribbon
I love when a card elicits a quiet gasp from me, as yours did today. This captures my heart, Shani!
