This striking young woman, retro chic in her vivid green headscarf, comes straight from the pages of a 1957 woman's magazine. I carefully cut out this image and used it on the card; it is not a copy.
Take care when gluing vintage papers; they can be very brittle. If you use a glue tape gun to adhere them make sure it's one that applies very easy, without much pressure. Otherwise, the paper surface sometime comes off with the tape as it rolls, or even tears. I use the Scotch ATG glue tape gun on new paper, but not on old. For these fragile papers I use a disposable Pritt glue tape that glides very easy, Yes! stickflat glue (carefully with a brush), or Aleene's Turbo Tacky Glue.
I used Honey Script font for the outside and inside sentiments, which I printed from the computer. I dressed up the card with beaded ribbon and shiny rick rack.

Rose is right, she DOES look like you! Tres chic! This card is flat out GORGEOUS. Love how you made the ric rac look like her off-the-shoulder top!
