Thinking Spring!—Happy Spring card

Okay, had enough of winter, been there done that, could use a little Spring right now. Which is why I whipped up this little Happy Spring card (you know, positive thinking, right?). The topper image and papers on this card are freebies I received quite some time ago with an issue of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine. I'd just about forgotten I had them. They're by April Rose Illustration.

The topper image is actually the far right third of a larger image, which I cut off. I ran this small section through my printer and printed the sentiment directly on it in Honey Script font (my favorite!). There's a rose image under the rose embellishment I added. I think this gives it a 3D effect.

The inside of the card has a nice little quote from Robin Williams. Again, printed from my computer with Honey Script font.

Material
Paper—Cardmaking & Papercraft
Topper—Cardmaking & Papercraft
Dies—Die-namics corners
Embellishments—Ratana felt border, paper rose
Font—Honey Script

  1. How cute and sugar candy sweet!! LOVE those pastels, they remind me of Easter eggs, or those candy necklaces we used to play with as kids, remember? Love the tiny 3-D rose - it's the perfect finishing touch!
