A Hunkydory kind of Mother's Day card

I've used paper and a die-cut decoupage topper from the Hunkydory Flutterbye Wishes Luxury Paper Collection in the creation of this Mother's Day card for my Grandmother. I cut the focal point circle down considerably from its original size, I wanted to mat it with another scalloped circle.

I had printed the mother's day sentiment on the paper itself, then as I went to glue the paper down I smudged it...grrrrrrrrr...so I had to do the sentiment like this and cover it up (note to self—when printing with an inkjet on shiny paper give it plenty of time to dry).

I used the sketch from Less is More week 169 for my inspiration.

Material
Paper/topper—Hunkydory Flutterbye Wishes Luxury Paper collection, cardstock
Dies—Artemio scalloped circle, Die-namics circle
Embellishments—twine, pearls
Font—Bickley Script
