This week's Friday Vintage Freebie is a page from an 1882 German Botanical book. The first one is the original sepia. and the second one I've converted to black and white. The upper left hand flower is a poppy, one of my favorite flowers. We have whole fields of these bright red blooms around the end of May, although our weather has been so warm the last few weeks I noticed some already blooming yesterday.
