Friday Vintage Freebie—Waiter and Female Customer—Pasta Ad
This week's Friday Vintage Freebie comes from a 1920's French fashion newspaper. It's taken from an ad for pasta. The paper is dark with age and very brittle. Although I did touch up some—straightening the image, extending the waiter's jacket coat, filling in a spot or two—for the most part I've left its sepia like coloring and spotty background.
This is the ad in its full crooked glory if you're curious. The text says too much meat isn't good for your health, and encourages Madame to replace it often with pasta, which is healthy and easily digestible, going on to say it's also nourishing, flavorful and economical.
Please note these images are for your personal use only. If you use the images and post your project on the internet, please link back to me. I'd love to see your creations. I hope you'll email me a photo of your work or post a link to it in the comment section of this post. Just right click on the images and save them to your computer.
Bon weekend and happy crafting!
