This is a photo of what happens in my little corner of the world when the weather gets warmer...the restaurants take to the sidewalks! We've been having some nice sunny warm weather and diners are out enjoying it. The photo above is Geneva's Place de Bourg de Four. There are a few restaurants here together and I always wonder how the servers know which tables are theirs.
And not to be out done...Monsieur Hubby (shown here checking out the wine list...decisions, decisions) and I enjoyed our Saturday lunch on the terrace of one of our favorite restaurants—the Auberge de Choully—smack dab in the middle of vineyards. Such a lovely area (see the Auberge's photos here).
Yours truly is enjoying her apéritif (a kir—a wine and liqueur blend).
This wonderful, old plane tree completely shades the terrace when it's leaved out (a bit early still for that), but soon.
Oh how LOVELY of you to share your day!! And it looked like a beautiful one, too. LOVE that gorgeous plane tree, its trunk is fantastically old and so gnarled with character. You look maaahvelous, dahling, and Henri was quite dashing himself. I look forward to many more of these kinds of posts giving a glimpse into your world! I shall live vicariously through them! Thanks again for sharing!!
