Ice cream cups are one of my favorite things to upcycle. Their small size means not much paper or embellishments are needed and they're quick to do. Plus, since they're food grade quality, I have no qualms about putting candy in them. You can see another ice cream cup upcycle here.
Ta-duh! Better, don't you think?! I found a package of these little nest and chicks for almost nothing last week and snapped them right up; I knew one would fit perfect on the lid. This Easter ribbon was 75% off, isn't it darling! I created the sentiment on my computer, printed it out and punched a tag.
I glued paper to the back of the egg die-cuts before adding them to the nest. I wanted the back to look as pretty as the front. I used a pearl marker on the flower ribbon and the butterfly on the back.
The chicks are so soft to the touch.
Ah, yes...chocolate...the best part is inside!
