Papermania Home to Nest Mother's Day card
I used paper and a decoupage topper from the Papermania Home to Nest A4 Ultimate Die-cut and Paper pack to make this Mother's Day card for my mother. My mother was quite the gardener until side-lined by poor health. The Home to Nest pack has Father's Day sentiments in it, and true, it works great for Father's Day, but I think its beauty appeals equally to ladies who love gardening or birds. I complemented the Home to Nest bird print paper with this paper from Papermania Capsule Collection Parisienne Blue that perfectly matches the image's pot.
I stamped and fussy cut the lace trim with a stamp from Papermania Urban Stamp Trim Borders. I adore this stamp! When cut it looks just like lace. I've used it a few times already for some magazine submissions (that alas, I can't show you). I attached the tag with twine to the decoupage image. I like attaching to the 3D image if I can; it gives it even more depth. The lace ribbon is vintage.

Shani, this is gorgeous! It's so soft and romantic and sweet and is sure to delight your mother. LOVE how precise the layers are and that you attached the tag to the 3-D element. This is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTrès jolie, très printanière cette carte! J'aime le détail de la dentelle sur le tag... Très mimi!
