Vintage look Air Mail card & Cardz 4 Guyz #20 challenge
I used this wonderful Vintage Air Mail stamp from Deep Red stamps to create this week's Cardz 4 Guyz "Recipe" challenge #20. The recipe is to make a project with 1 of something, 2 of something 3 of something. My card uses 1 stamped image, 2 ribbons and 3 buttons.
I'm new to Deep Red stamps, having just recently discovered them browsing the internet for another project I was working on. They are made with a heavy duty red rubber and the ensuing stamp is clear and precise; I'm very impressed. You all know I'm a big fan of vintage imagery and they have some wonderful vintage designs. I stamped the airplane on the back of a vintage postcard (hint—if you don't like the front of a postcard think about using the back). Instead of thread or twine, the buttons are strung on metal jewelry wire.
As with last week's card, I've left the outside sentiment off and will finish the inside to be either Father's day or a male birthday.
