Let it Snow! neutral tone digistamp Christmas card
Sunday, December 6, 2015
I've used Whimsie Doodles Let it Snow! digital stamp as the focal point for this neutral tone Christmas card. This would be a good stamp for beginning digital stampers as it's super easy to color – no shading necessary! Oh, and it only costs $1.
The paper is Dovecraft Krafty Christmas and the bow tie die – of which I used only the top – is from Toga (check out this St. Patrick's Day card to see what it looks like with both pieces).
The snowflake banner die is also from Toga. I cut one in beige and two in black and layered them to give a shadowed look to the beige diecut.
*Crafty Tip* If you're using a dimensional bow cutting die like this and your paper is not double sided, it looks better if you cover up the white inside. You can do that very easily by putting the two papers you want for inside/outside white sides together and cutting the die through both at once. When you pop it out of the die, lift one side and glue, then the other (keeps it lined up that way).
