A Valentine's day card with a fish? Nothing 'Fishy' about it!

A 'Fishy' Valentine's day card with Lovely Fish Digital Delights digistamp, by Paperesse.

This is another 'non-traditional' Valentine going to my Aunt back in the States. I saw this Lovely Fish stamp from Digital Delights and as I tend to like stamps that are somewhat out of the ordinary, this one got my attention. Oh, and did I mention it's on sale right now? And for only $1.00? Now how could I resist that?!

For the background, I used three different papers from Tactile Studio's Swoon digital paper pack and arranged them in a quilt block pattern background. My sentiment font is free Curlz MT. The inside sentiment of the card ties in the front with '. . . just wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day!' and a personal message.

As of January 1, 2016, we've had yet another postage increase here in France. Price is determined by weight and thickness with, of course, International postage costing the most. I can't really go over 3cm in thickness or it's too expensive to send, plus now the weights are calculated differently and anything over 100gr is very, very expensive. So . . . my cards that were already lightening up, will most likely be getting even lighter.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Tactile Studio Swoon digital paper pack
Digital stamp – Digital Delights Lovely Fish
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Dies – Die-namics square stax
Embellishments – button, wooden heart, twine
Font – Curlz MT
