Birthday tag featuring Robert Jackson Vintage Hats 2 digital stamp
Sunday, April 10, 2016
The focal image on this tag going to my great-aunt for her birthday, is Robert Jackson's Vintage Hats 2 digital stamp If you're a hat lover (and I am!) be sure and check out his 'Just Hats' section. He's designed an amazing selection of hat digital stamps.
For the sentiment I've used Kim's Digi Stamps Round Greetings Mixed digital stamp from Cuddly Buddly. The tag paper is from BasicGrey's Stella Ruby #768 tag sheet (retired, but still available on the net).
I wanted to add some frilly embellishments to the tag, but keep it relatively light so I could afford to mail it. Several different dies gave me the look I wanted, without too much weight. My cards have lightened up over the years, but my tags still seem to like frills, like this vintage tag from last year.
*Crafty Tip* Re-think your holiday dies, could be they'd work for more than just the Holidays! The flowers on this card are from Sizzix Winter Elements die strip, but they don't look 'Christmasy' at all.

Delightful Shani! I really like that you used red & green for a birthday - too often it is compartmentalized for Christmas and it is beautiful for this occasion too! This is such a celebratory, happy tag - I like the red streamers[?]that you have managed to elevate! And that image is wonderful with her hat! I need to go check out Robt. Jackson's images! Beautifully colored and well executed toots!
