Of course, it was too thick and fragile to send in a flat envelope. It's rare I make cards anymore I can't send in a flat envelope and each time I do and have to pay the postage for a box, I remember why that is.
The sentiment comes from one of Cuddly Buddly's greeting sheets (love these! so quick and easy), this time it's Kim's Twelve Round Greetings Mixed 2.
*Crafty Tip* Don't trash those cut, green wire, flower stems! Simply wrap around a toothpick and use as embellishments (you can see them peeping out in the detail photo above).

Such a beautiful card and a great idea for left-overflowed stems!
ReplyDeleteTres bien Shani, beautiful card. I always try to read your blog in the French language for practice, learning French is tres difficult but it is a beautiful language.

What a great idea about the wires Shani - I am thinking of other places I could use those. The card is going to be such a treat for your niece - there is so much to discover in the design from the pearl beads[?] on the sentiment to the details in the papers, curly wires, and the butterflies! This is one of those cards you turn this way and that to see all the details and it makes you SMILE!
