Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights – From our Gnome to Yours card
Thursday, February 16, 2017
It's another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights; click on over to see what projects other DT members are sharing today. My card features the Mr. Gnome value set – toadstools, gnome house, sentiment and Mr. Gnome himself all in one.
I colored the toadstools to mimic the colors of the Stripes and Spots Digital Delights paper pack background. Embellishments are minimal, a strip of crinkled paper ribbon and enamel dots.
I layered the different stamps of the value set to get this look. Layering digital stamps is an easy way to increase their value and to expand your creative capabilities. For the how-to on digital stamp layering, see my tutorial on PNG files and digital stamp layering. If you have any question, or run in to a snag, don't hesitate to drop me a line, I'll be glad to help if I can.

Love the colors of your card, the image and the overall design! What a fun, happy card. Thank you for sharing your wonderful project atFab'n'Funky challenge. Good luck. Neva
ReplyDeleteI LoVe this one Shani! The primary colors are so vibrant and happy! I really like the enamal dots you added that carry over the theme of the dots on the mushrooms and the DP. And your idea of using a stip of corrugated paper as ribbon is a reminder of how fun it is to use left over papers and that long un-used corrigatator that has been hanging on my wall for years! Another winner Shani!
