Ever had a paper pad you loved so much you hated to see it end? You know the kind I'm talking about. One where you liked every sheet in the pad, saving even the smallest scraps thinking you might find a use for them. The kind of paper pad when down to its last bits and pieces, you desperately search the internet trying to score another one before you run completely out.
Only to find...it's retired.
That is exactly how I felt about the 6x6 Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery paper pad. I have used the heck out of that paper (these Christmas Cheesy Mice, Ham It Up Pig Christmas, and Cardinal Christmas cards are a few examples) and now that I'm down to the dregs of the pad, I would really like to have more. Only I can't because...yeah, it's retired.
So imagine my joy when I recently found the same paper again, only in digital form! Which is even better, in my opinion (digital doesn't take up craft room space, never runs out, and I can size it up or down to show more/less of the pattern). I've discovered Snap Click Supply Co. features quite a few name brands' – BasicGrey, BoBunny, Carta Bella, Cosmo Cricket, and Echo Park Paper are but a few – current and retired paper pads in digital form. Now it's not like I'm new to Snap Click Supply Co., I've been buying from them for a while now, especially for digital scrapbooking projects, but as I rarely buy paper pads in physical form, it's the first time I've made the connection between a retired physical paper pad I like and its digital reincarnation. I snapped up both Carta Bella Christmas Delivery Paper Pack #1 and Pack #2. Oh, happy day! I'm back in business!
So, moral of the story, if you have a favorite retired physical paper pad from any of the brands Snap Click Supply Co. carries, you might try searching the site to see if it is available in digital form. If it is – great! And if not, I'm sure you'll be tempted by lots of others, especially on Wednesday. Every Wednesday at Snap Click Supply Co. is One Buck Wednesday where a chosen selection of digital elements and papers are only $1.00.
*gasp* Whaaaat? I did not know this! Definitely going to check this out. Thanks for sharing this!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I just spent a small fortune :) Thanks for the suggestion! Question for you, what kind of paper do you use to print the digital paper?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like Snap Click Supply Co.! They do have some nice things. For my digital papers I use slightly heavier normal white office paper 120 gr. weight, A4 size. I normally cut the A4 into A5 and size the digital file down to fit on A5, then print. For cards, I like a smaller size so you can see more of the paper pattern. I also choose High quality to print. It uses more ink, but the paper looks better.
DeleteThank you!
DeleteI did not know about the digital options. tfs.
