Fall & Halloween Decorating

I have these autumn and Halloween decorations in our storage and honestly, it's been years since I've used them. I used to decorate every autumn/Halloween when I first moved here, but as Halloween really isn't a French thing, I dropped the habit (to read about Halloween in France see this What's Halloween Like in France post). I've been on the fence enough about it though that these decorations have survived major cleanouts when other things I knew I wouldn't use again were donated.

I decided to make them earn their storage space this year, hauled them out and did a bit of decorating. Way I figure it, we're spending a heck of a lot more time at home, might as well perk the place up a bit, even if no one sees and appreciates them but us. Or, now that I think about it...you!

  3. I love decorating for all occasions and I usually go a bit overboard. Now that the kids are grown there is no one to appreciate all the work that goes into pulling out the boxes of decorations and the time spent decorating but I still do it. I've slowly been purging so it no longer takes days to decorate :)
