Toilet Paper Christmas Card Featuring Dr. Digi's Free Toliet Paper Digital Stamp

Regular Paperesse readers know I like quirky Christmas cards (e.g. this Ham It Up card), so maybe not everyone will be surprised by this Toilet Paper one. I'm trying to think which formerly toilet paper deprived relative in the States has the best sense of humor that I can send it to (not many share my humor) and since toilet paper is sexless it'll work for anyone. I had more than one person tell me they couldn't get toilet paper for weeks in the spring and I read just before I typed this that fear of new restrictions are creating shortages again. Or maybe this could be construed as symbolic for 2020 altogether. I think everyone can probably agree 2020 has gone down the toilet. I think the best thing we can say about it is that it's been memorable.

I guess this card is an example of trying to laugh through tears. It's been a very difficult year. People are suffering physically, economically, emotionally. People have lost loved ones and are grieving. Let's face it, 2020 is not going to be the planet's merriest Christmas.

I haven't decided what I want the inside sentiment of this card to be. How about...'It's been a shi*ty year, fingers crossed 2021 is better. Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas, good health, and a never ending supply of toilet paper."? Or maybe, '2020 - sh*t happens. Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas and a better 2021...' Hmmm, ah, I know, '2020's been a real pain in the bu*t, best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a better 2021...'. Of course, the actual sentiment won't have those little * in there.

The toilet paper digi is a freebie from Dr. Digi's. Patterned paper is Craft Sensations Sparkling Winter. The sentiment was created with Buffet Script font. I dressed it  up with some crinkled paper ribbon, twine and a snowflake charm (even toliet paper deserves to look nice).
