I don't often do CAS cards. In fact, just out of curiosity, I did a blog check and found I can count on one hand the number of cards I've posted in the last eight years that could be considered CAS, and even some of those are loose interpretations of CAS. I was reminded of some I liked though, This Bud's for You no layer card colored on kraft turned out well. Then there was this floral button one, but I don't know if that one is really CAS or not, as there are quite a few buttons on it (it's CAS to me, though).
Which brings me to today's card. This is CAS for sure. Only one layer here (not counting the base) with Hetty Clare's Xmas Tree House digi front and center. I really like this stamp and try as I might to pair it up with decorative paper, it just seemed to distract from the stamp itself. So...I took the radical decision to not use any patterned paper, no layers (not even a die...gasp!) and just let it speak for itself. Well, except for the sentiment, which speaks, too. And given what Christmas around the world is going to be like for a lot of us this year, gives a whole new meaning to Home for the Holidays.
The sentiment was created with Channel font, a fantastic font that gives an elegant touch to anything you use it on. See this post that explains how to get that curly tail on the end there.
Paper – cardstock
Digital stamp – Hetty Clare Art Xmas Tree House
Font – Channel

This is lovely! Such a delightful stamp and I love the winter sky you've created. And it looks splendid CAS! Perfect sentiment for Christmas 2020 too. (P.S. I would totally say that button flower card is CAS.)
