A Field of French Colza

We pulled up to a stop light, I looked to the right and this beautiful field of French colza took my breath away. There are several fields near us and they're all blooming right now; it puts a smile on your face just looking at them. Colza is used to make huile de colza (canola oil).

Have a nice weekend all!

  1. Canola is so pretty when it's in bloom! Your growing season is ahead of ours. Farmers used to grow a lot of canola around here....I won't tie up/bore your comment section with the explanation of why they don't anymore. I do miss seeing all the fields of yellow though!

  2. Beautiful picture. I so miss the French countryside. I always loved the fields of lavender and sunflowers.
