Best Fishes Birthday Card

The Creative Expressions Lisa Horton netting background die I've used on this card for my brother was a recent outlet shop find I blogged about on this stash update post. It's retired from the Creative Expressions site, but I see it still available elsewhere online, howbeit slightly more expensive than the €3.99 I paid for it.

The 'netting' name of the die put me in mind of fish. I'd seen a punny card using fish and this sentiment a while back and decided to do my own take on it. I daresay, I am rather pleased with how it turned out. The three fussy cut fish are Prettygrafik Pet Fish digis. I created the 'Best Fishes...' sentiment with Mister Sirloin BTN font (the corresponding inside sentiment reads '...for a very Happy Birthday!').

The paper behind the netting is a scrap piece left over from this Cruise Album Mini project.
