It's Girlfriend Imke's turn at Little Red Wagon this week and she's wanting us to choose spring or fall projects. I chose Spring! Click on over to see what the other girlfriends have chosen and link up your own spring or fall paper creations.
I didn't mail Easter cards to the States this year. I made one to send to a friend in Geneva and then this one that says 'Happy Spring' not 'Happy Easter' so it will still be relevant when it arrives. I hate it when cards arrive late. After all the effort I put into making one for a specific holiday when it arrives after the fact, it's completely anticlimactic. This mail delivery problem in the States has really put a spoke in my card making wheel.
I so liked the design I recently used on this St. Patrick's Day card, that I used it again for this card. The digi is Ladybug Friend from Di's Digi Stamps. I have just a little bit left of this Folia Motifblock Garden paper I like and this card design was a nice way to not let it go to waste. Embellishments are twine and enamel dots. The sentiment was created with Segoe Script font.

So very sweet, Shani! And I love that little ladybird on the pup’s paw. What a fun little touch!
ReplyDeleteIt can be so frustrating to find out cards (or anything!) have been delayed in the mail. Fortunately, the “Happy Spring” sentiment provides some flexibility!
He is so adorable Shani, fabulous image, so sweet, and fabulous colouring, gorgeous card..
