It's my turn again at Little Red Wagon and since the world can use all the love it can get, I thought it'd be nice to help spread some around, thus this week's Power of Love theme. Click on over to see what the other girlfriends have come up with and link up your own love-ly creations.
This wedding card was for my niece, who married this year in March. Lest you think my color choices a bit strange for a wedding card, let me add that she got married on St. Patrick's day (just in case the clover paper didn't make that obvious). And yes, I've been sitting on it, saving it for this challenge.
The digi is Di's Digi Stamps Wedding Car Bears. Since this card was USA bound, I had to do a bit of fiddling with the digi, flipping it to show the groom driving on the right side of the road. Normally, flipping a image to face another direction is a simple click, but with this image, flipping caused the LOVE license plate to read backwards. To fix this, I used two images, removing everything but just the plate on one and digitally pasting it onto the flipped image.
Papers are digital-printed bits and pieces from my paper scraps drawer, as is the 'ribbon' which in fact isn't (it's a digital print, too!). Enamel dots dress it up. The sentiment was created with Arizonia font.
Paper – cardstock, paper scraps
Digital stamp – Di's Digi Stamps Wedding Car Bears
Die – No-brand stitched squares
Embellishments – enamel dots
Font – Arizonia
Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers
Art-n-Fly white pen
