Di's Digi Stamps Beary Mice Surprise digi is front and center on today's birthday card. Evidently, I have a soft spot for Di's cupcake stamps as I have quite a few (search the blog by 'cupcake' and you'll see what I mean). Maybe it's because I haven't had a real cupcake in years, probably decades; they're not a French thang. Although you might find a specialty shop here and there in the big cities, there's never any gluten free ones (sigh). Oh well, I can enjoy coloring them.
I used a favorite combination for the papers – a black and white background against other brighter colors (this masculine birthday card is another example of same). I used no-brand border strip dies in place of ribbon and topped it off with some enamel dots. The sentiment was created with Pea Elizabeth Ashley font.
Paper – cardstock, Max Bringmann paper pads
Digital stamp – Di's Digi Stamps Beary Mice Surprise
Dies – Die-namics square stax, no-brand border strips
Embellishments – enamel dots
Font – Pea Elizabeth Ashley
Caran d'Ache Luminance 901 pencils
Art-n-Fly white pen

Such a darling card! I'm totally smitten with that little mouse helping out his bear friend. And poor you with no cupcakes for so long!! You may need to leave your craft room to bake your own gluten-free stash to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card! That digi is super cute and your paper choice is fantastic! Just think of the calories saved by only colouring cupcakes. (-;
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet image, and your coloring is perfect! Love the added stripes and dots for the challenge, it really completes the design. So glad you linked your creation to our challenge at CAS on Friday, we hope to see more of your work! Hugs!
