Christmas Card with Di's Digi Stamps Candy Cane Mice Digi

I've got a Christmas card for you today featuring Di's Digi Stamps Candy Cane Mice digi. I really like Di's little mice and enjoy coloring them; I find them cute without being 'cutesy' and have quite a few Christmas ones posted on the blog, of which this caroling mice card is one.

The paper is some BasicGrey a friend of mine gave me years and years ago. I'm glad to finally use it. I've always liked BasicGrey paper and was sad to see them shut down in 2016. Just an FYI, but if you're a BasicGrey fan you can still find digital versions of their lovely papers on the Snap Click Supply Company website and at less expensive prices, too.

The sentiment was created with Candy Round BTN font. A no-brand border strip and my go-to ric-rac dies dress it up. Velvety brads with the tines removed top it all off (the only way I ever use brads – by  turning them into dots).

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, BasicGrey
Digital stamp – Di's Digi Stamps Candy Cane Mice
Dies – no-brand border strip, Gemini Fancy Borders Ric-Rac
Embellishments – velvet brads
Font – Candy Round BTN
Caran d'Ache Luminance 901 pencils
Gelly Roll white pen
Unipin .05 black fine line pen

Pretty card. Great idea on using the brads that way.

  2. Fabulous card, Shani! I especially love the colours. I must say, that first mouse looks exactly as I do when I comes to moving something....as in "I'll just put my hand here and make it look like I'm helping". lol
