This Happy Summer card features digis and sentiment from Vera Lane Studio's She Swims and Beach Accessories digi sets. The French sentiment means 'Happiness is a day at the beach'. I enjoy making summer cards the same way I enjoying making autumn cards, without any specific reason, just to color up cute digis and mark the change of seasons. This card featuring Sliekje Digi Stamps freebie wading pool mice is a past favorite.
The She Swims set has different options you can use for the floater and bathing cap. I chose the Flamingo floater and plain bathing cap. I created a beach scene by adding a beach ball and bag digi from the Beach Accessories set. I drew a wavy line in the background to ground the images and unify the scene.
Paper is defunct Tactile Studio Flamingo digital. The flower tape is Dovecraft Printed Blooms (retired). Black enamel dots add a bit of bling.
