Have a PURRfect Summer Card with Di's Digi Stamps Caravan Cats Digi

PURRfect Summer card with Di's Digi Stamps Caravan Cats digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils, by Paperesse.

I've got one more summer 2024 card for you today before I move on to autumn. Although I daresay it's hard to think about Autumn when French summer vacations are still in full swing. August is our busiest vacation month in France (most of Europe, for that matter). It seems like everyone's heading to a beach somewhere, or the mountains, businesses close up for the month, cities empty out.  It's really the nicest time to visit European cities and Geneva is no exception – less traffic, less crowds in town, less folks on the buses and trams – August is a great month to be here. My husband and I normally plan our vacations in September when school starts up again and everyone else is back. The weather's still nice, the prices come down, and it's less crowded.

These cats sure seem to be chilling out and enjoying their summer don't they? The Caravan Cats digi is from Di's Digi Stamps. If you like cats, Di has some cute ones; this Kitten in a Teacup is a past favorite.

The sentiment was created with Dhanikans Signature 2 font (one of my favorites). The paper is from Clairefontaine Fleurs Séchées paper pad, recently snagged on sale at less than half price. I've dressed it up with a felt flower and enamel dot.

  4. Lovely card, Shani! Your colouring is wonderful and the colours are very summery. Such a cute image too! It's strange to me to hear that businesses close down for a month - very different than here! I'm not a fan of crowds....visiting when it's less busy would be perfect for me. (:

  6. I'm completely smitten with your card as I love caravans AND I love cats. You've done such a lovely job with your colouring too. I remember your Eiffel Tower card from a bit ago by the same designer. Perhaps I should start considering digi stamps!!
