Di's DigiStamps Autumn Wishes Digi Halloween Card

Halloween card with Di's DigiStamps Autumn Wishes digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils, by Paperesse.

To everyone in the Northern Hemisphere...Happy fall, y'all! To celebrate autumn's arrival (my favorite time of the year) I have a Halloween card for you today.

I whipped up an oval sentiment with Annie BTN font to frame Di's DigiStamps Autumn Wishes digi as the card's focal point.  I like the way these type of sentiments highlight a digi (this Hetty Clare Snowman card is another example) and they're easy to make in my old Craft Artist Pro app. You have to print and adjust a time or two to get the fit just right for your die, but I save it afterwards so next time it's good to go.

And just an aside here, but am I the only crafter still using the old Serif Craft Artist Pro app (if you are, drop me a line in the comment section)? I hated to see them discontinue it and now Serif the company is gone as well. It is hands down the BEST app for crafters. It does so much in an intuitive, easy way and it was so affordable! Nothing I've tried to replace it with does as much or works as well (sigh).

The paper is Prettygrafik Halloween digital featuring my favorite Halloween colors – purple, orange, and black. As for embellishments, I'm glad to have finally used one of these jack-o'-lanterns I've had for a while now (makes me feel justified in keeping them).

  4. I've never used the app so there's no loss for me - although I know what it's like to have something discontinued when it's a favourite. I'm sorry your much-appreciated app is being discountinued.

Your card is darling and the sentiment is positioned just perfectly with your frame and image! Well done!

  5. I love the bright, happy, Halloween colors and darling little mouse and friend. I'm not familiar with Serif Craft Artist Pro app, but am a fan of anything that makes creating/life a little easier. I'm sorry to hear we have lost it.😕

  7. Wonderful card, Shani! Such a cute digi. I haven't heard of that app, but it's never fun when you have to find something to replace something that worked so well. ):

  9. Another smiler, this is absolutely darling and just perfect for fall. I love your sentiment. I'm going to work up my bravery and see if I can figure out how to do this using photoshop elements. Or, maybe I can try Canva, that way if I run into trouble, Janice might be able to help me. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
