Autumn Birthday Card with Di's DigiStamps Autumn Wreath Foxy Digi

Autumn birthday card with Di's DigiStamps Autumn Wreath Foxy digi, colored with Luminance pencils, by Paperesse.

Today's autumn birthday card has Di's DigiStamps super cute Autumn Wreath Foxy digi front and center. I love how Di has drawn this one, with the wreath of autumnal greenery framing the fox. I had just the papers to go with this digi, too. Back in 2019 I did 4 cards for Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine using AMB Illustrations Den of Foxes digital stamps and paper kit; the papers are a perfect match for Di's sweet fox.

Ah, pre-Brexit, when sending things to the UK was easy and affordable (although this was after Brexit, the tougher postal regs we have now hadn't kicked in yet). This is why I no longer do magazine commissions. And why I no longer buy used books from the UK either. I used to buy quite a few (since not all old books are on Kindle), but a recent €4.95 used book order was going to cost me €15.00 in fees. I refused the order delivery and sent it back. Unbeknownst to me the under €22.00 order exception no longer applies and we have to pay VAT from the first euro. But, it's not real clear how much that should be and it depends on who is delivering it. Phfff.

But back to the card...the sentiment was created with Europhia Script. Embellishments are enamel dots, a no-brand border strip and my favorite ric-rac die.

  5. Splendid card, Shani! You're right - these papers are perfect! Yikes, those fees sound very unreasonable. I would have sent back the books too!

  7. Your colouring is absolutely spectacular on this one, Shani! Wow!! The fox and wreath look wonderful and those papers really are the perfect complement.

That's lousy about the shipping costs and taxes. I have the same when trying to order some things from the US. At times, it costs far more in shipping than the actual items are worth. No fun!
