I'm a member of the American International Women's Club in Geneva, Switzerland. It's a great organization with English speaking members from all over the world, not just Americans. We have all types of activities going on; I could do something every day of the week if I wanted. Member favorites are the monthly coffee meetups we have in different neighborhoods around Geneva. It's a nice way for us expat ladies to have a chat in English, gripe about politics, and understand one another's jokes (which isn't always evident in a 2nd language). I'm the activity leader for the Meyrin (far right-bank) coffee. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
Since Halloween's coming up, I thought I would make some goodie bags to give to the ladies at our October coffee. I used an old Artemio plastic traceable cutting template to cut the bags on Prettygrafik Fall Farm Truck digital A4 paper. The plastic template has lines for cutting and folding. It's a shame Artemio doesn't make these anymore. They were an affordable way to create projects like this bag without having to invest in an expensive die-cutting machine and dies. After cutting the template, it's just a question of folding it up and securing the edges with a bit of glue. The pumpkin image is Prettygrafik Fall Beetle clip art. The sentiment was created with Annie BTN font. I dressed up the bag with a perfect size no-brand border strip and Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops.
To keep the bags closed I used little self-stick velcro circles (see the bag in more detail on this Christmas goodie bag post). The inside goodies are a piece of gluten-free Lebkuchen (a type of chocolate covered gingerbread), with a Yogi Pumpkin Chai teabag (one of my favorite teas).

What a lovely gift! Such a pretty box and with treats inside - I'm betting it was well received by your fellow club members!
