Happy Thanksgiving! I think this sentiment with Vera Lane Studio's Dee's Feast digi is spot on and most Americans will indeed 'Gobble till you wobble' today. Enjoy everyone!
This is a great digi set that you can use for more than just Thanksgiving. I showed Dee holding the turkey png image that comes with the set, but there's also a pie, and frankly, the way her hand is held, you could show her holding just about anything (birthday cake for example). This is something I like about VLS digis, the png images provided easily mix and match, giving you more bang for your crafty buck.
The leaf paper is Night Fall Harvest from American Crafts (retired) and my hands down favorite autumn paper. I have had it a long, long time (it's first appearance was on this vintage look autumn card from 2012). I have made several cards with it and am now getting down to the last sheet. In fact, I had thought I was out and then found another almost whole sheet stuck in with some scraps. I'm really careful how I use it.
Just an FYI here, but if you're a fan of American Craft paper products (hand raised) you can find some new and classic American Crafts, Crate Paper, Heidi Swapp, Pebbles and Pink Paislee designs now in digital form on the American Crafts digital site. I love all of these brands and can't find them here, or if I do they're out of my budget, so having access to these reasonably priced digital versions is fantastic, plus digital papers take up no space in my craft room and I don't have to worry about running out of a favorite design. Unfortunately, this Night Fall Harvest one isn't on the site.
The wooden leaves I've used as embellishments I've had a while and never used, so I'm glad to finally do so (makes me justify keeping them); they go so well with the paper.
Paper – cardstock, American Craft Night Fall Harvest
Digital stamp and sentiment – Vera Lane Studio Dee's Feast
Dies – Die-namics rectangle stax
Embellishments – wooden leaves
Caran d'Ache Luminance 901 pencils
Gelly Roll white pen
So sassy and perfect for the holiday. Your coloring is spot on.
