As I explained on my recent Bugaboo Stella Valentine post, I don't think of Valentine's Day as a romantic holiday; I think of it as a day to spread a little love to the folks I care about. This card is going to my niece's household.
The new digi is Polkadoodles Celebration Balloons Gnome. This is such a great digi. Yes, the heart balloons make it perfect for Valentine's Day, but you could use it for just about any occasion. My punny sentiment was created with Leftovers font. Paper is defunct Tactile Studio Cupid digital and although I've had it for a long, long time this is the first time I've actually printed it out and used it. Matt enamel dots top it all off.
These flat-sided, no-brand, oval dies are brand-new (a Christmas present to myself) and are having their first outing on this card. It's a stack set of 16 which makes them perfect for layering and their Amazon price of €5.19 was certainly right. I really like the shape; the flat sides and wider bottom allow more room for a digi and they fit well on a standard 10.5 x15 cm card base, of which I have many.
